We ate at Tomatoes, a fine Italian resturaunt. It was really fun and delicious! Our hotel is right on the beach and we have a spectaucular view of the ocean from our room.
I admit, I like Maui better than Oahu. Oahu is a little more run down and you can see the poverty loud and clear there. Maui was made for tourism!! But the difference in the economy on the islands is very visible.

Happy New Year to all of you transplant Hawaiians.
We are partaking in the opposite weather pattern and celebrating in record breaking snowfall at the ranch in Wyoming. We have snow in our boots instead of sand in our toes.
We plan on trying that next month.
Our family enjoys your updates and of course it is fun to see the kids grow thru photos.
