McCain/Palin

Did that get your attention? I have tried to keep my opinions to myself during this presidential race to the White House, but I've had it. The straw that broke the camel's back...was when I had the CARTOONS on for my kids, and I see a frickin' add about Nobama! (opps, I mean Obama). YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!! I have a very big opinion about who to vote for this year, for many reasons. Two of the reasons are 1: Prolife...for you members of the church or anyone who has a strong moral background, did you read the article in the Ensign about ABORTION this month? read it, hopefully that will change your perspective on who to vote for. 2: Marriage between a man and a woman and PROTECTING what is ordained of God. MY VOTE WILL NOT BE NOBAMA!! (I think I already made that statement loud and clear without havin to type it...oh well, it doesn't hurt to say it twice! I am a mother and it seems that's what mom's do best...repetition is needed!) Obviously, the economy is in trouble...and whoever is in office the next four years will not be someone who can change anything over night, this horrible slump has got to run its course, whether its McCain or the other guy. Yes, there are issues in Iraq. Yes, there are issues about Homeland security. Yes, issues with gas prices. Yes, the Housing Market is totally awful. To me, the biggest issues are protecting life, and protecting marriage. All the other stuff is somewhat important.

I had a good friend send me this article and I would like for you all to read it. Orson Scott Card is a democrat and a newspaper columnist, and in this opinion piece he takes on both while lamenting the current state of journalism.

Give it a good read! This article has nothing to do with Prolife or Protecting marriage. It takes a deep look into the REAL differences between McCain and Obama besides the two most important issues I named above. Would the Last Honest Reporter Please Turn On the Lights?

Normally, I love to just blog about my cute little family and take my kids' pictures, or make something delicious and share it with you all. But I have too many strong feelings to not say something about the Presidential race right now.

Hey Stace, I know you have strong feelings about some important issues. I share those feelings. But I can't go for McCain and Palin. Just can't.

Politics is such a sticky thing.

I hear ya! I'm so sick of all the Obama crap on TV. The ads are everywhere right now. A few times in the past week I've seen ads saying something about voting for Obama on Facbook. Each time I click on the little thumbs-down icon & signify the information contained in the ad is offensive. ;)

I'm not a huge fan of McCain, but at this point he's the lesser of two evils. Sad, but true. Palin is something else! If she were running for Pres. I'd vote for her in a heartbeat!

Stacy! That blog was great.... You are right... I can't believe people can't see Obama for who he is... a liar, a theif, and a cheat! I seriously get a pit in my stomach when I look at him. & Socialized medicine??? Anyone who has a child who has an illness (such as cystic fibrosis) will just end up dead because there will be such long waiting lists to see the doctor... no one understands all that.... what a joke! I have strong feeling on it too! I get sick thinking about it!

This is a great blog post and just another reason to thank God we live in America, where we can feel this, post about it, shout it from the house tops, put signs up in our yards. We are so blessed. Let's vote!

I couldn't imagine voting for anyone other than Obama.
